Best way to improve accuracy
1 of 1 found this helpful Having had several long range & hunting rifles over the past 55 years, the importance of a good trigger is the heart of good accuracy. Recently purchased a Savage Axis in 6.5 Creedmoor, Knowing the inherent accuracy capable of this caliber, I was somewhat amazed at the factory trigger in this rifle, something like dragging a five pound bag of sugar over a rub-board with your finger, not good by any stretch. Having had years ago used a Timney trigger in another rifle, felt this would be the easiest fix.
Ordered from dealer on E-Bay saving approx. $30.00, paid no shipping and had trigger in 4 days from order date. Installation was simple drop in following their enclosed instructions. Now have a glass smooth trigger pulling at 2.25# with no creep or over-travel, allowing sub 1"groups @ 100 yards.
Could not be more pleased with product or E-bay and look forward to using again.
