Great DELL Model M keyboard from Lexmark.

Great vintage Model M keyboard by Lexmark. Keyboard is in great condition for a 29 year old keyboard. Mine was made on 04-14-92. Just needed some cleaning, and "resetting" of the actual springs in the switch. My particular model did not "yellow", nor wasn't so dirty that it couldn't be cleaned and washed less and an hour, +30 mins for drying. I wanted this model, because it had a different OEM label, not for IBM. It had the older DELL logo. But still a very well made Model M keyboard with the detachable SDL - PS/2 cable that works just as well as it did when new. Again, just needed some cleaning from dirt and grime. Only 3 broken plastic rivets. Doesn't need the bolt mod right now. Maybe within the next 5-10 years before I need one.

It's great for a 1156 PGA rig.

This is perfect for one who is looking for a full sized motherboard with lots of SATA ports, and yes, it's primary purpose is for that of a server. However, works as a simple workstation as well. I have (unused laying around) 10GB of non-ECC ram with a i7. Specs says that it can run an i3 or Xeon, but it runs. The bios does report that its running unsupported RAM and CPU, but whatever. It's running, it's stable, and does report an i7 with 10GB of RAM. Only thing with the RAM, have to use sticks that have memory that are on both sides of the sticks, otherwise, it will not POST. Lack of USB 2.0 and 3.0, but at least there are internal headers for the 2.0. 3.0, I have to get a PCIE card. The PCI x16 slot is just fine for a low end GT1030, a higher video card would be a waste. So, if looking for a chear workstation, this should be a good fit, assuming one would have a E-ATX case for it.

It's as good for what it is. Bluetooth 2.0 and wifi n 150. No drivers needed for Windows 10. Cable is of decent length and has good reception.
