Light Niagara Falls from across the river. Not quite but a great flash.
3 of 3 found this helpful If you need a Flash for your Sony Alpha this is the one to purchase. Don't waste your money on a less powerful model or an off brand which will not be 100 percent compatible with your camera and give you headaches you don't need. There is enough power for anything you wish to light. I use it on an A65 and the results are great.I have had excellent results with birds at 50-60 ft. Bouncing indoors is easy and produces great results with natural skin tones. Using the auto mode the TTL & ADI work well for most shots.It has given me great results at weddings and Bar Mitzvahs when there is fast moving action and you don't have the time to meter every shot. Using it with a flash meter in manual mode at any power this flash won't let you down. On or off the camera this flash is hard to beat. No overheating after a few shots like the HVL F60AM. The only downfall I see is price it's way to high. However if you want the best you have to pay it.

Excellent Band Clamp
Excellent clamp at a reasonable price. I bought this clamp to make 6 and 8 sided bird houses. I have to say it work very well. If you need to glue or clamp irregular shaped. items I would recommend this clamp. I have brand named clamps which cost considerably more and this clamp worked just as well. I am planning on buying another one. The only improvement I can see is if the plastic corners were more flexible or adjustable to angles other than 90%. Which would make them usable on more applications. Unfortunately even the expensive brand named clamp are not either. Which makes the plastic corners usable for 90% corners such as picture frames etc.otherwise you need to use the clamp without them. Of course the clamp still works well. Adjustable corners would just be an improvement. Hopefully clamp manufacturers will some day realize this.

I bought this for use on a Sony A65. It only works in Manual mode. I use as a slave also and it works fine. The only draw back is you have to meter every shot. This is great if used in the studio but not so well in the field. When I use it at weddings. I get there early and take meter reading where the people be standing. I mark the floor with masking tape. When the people arrive. I position them where the tape is and I just shoot away. It works well
