Decent quality replacement tank - one minor complaint
The tank was an easy, direct fit, replacement with no issues connecting. My only complaint about it was that the fuel hoses were too short, both inside and out of the tank. I had to extend the outside hoses over 1/2" to reach the carb and fuel bulb. The hose inside the tank with the filter attached was in the middle of the tank (factory was on the far end of the tank), since I had to shorten the outside, the fuel filter sits up even higher. The problem with the fuel filter sitting higher is that if I angle the string trimmer to the right, it runs out of fuel at half full. I have to quickly turn it back left to keep the engine running. Suggestion to manufacturer: Add 4" to fuel line in the tank and at least an inch more on both hoses outside the tank. It's super cheap and will provide a better customer experience.
