It's doing the job...perfectly.
I had a feeling the board I bought and installed from another company was faulty, as it appears it's fairly common for these to fail eventually. So before I trashed the still very nice Samsung fridge, I decided to try another board, 30 bucks or so more than the used/refurb boards... It arrived on time in a factory sealed bag and the fridge operates as brand new again(12 year old side by side). Very pleased so far anyway.
