The best of the same price
To use this mic with an android phone, the sound you get back with your earphone is quite low, eventhough you push the volume up to the top.
Connecting with a laptop, the sound you hear is quite normal regarding the same mentioned above.
As for the sound quality being recorded, it is crystal clear with decent base and sounds much better compared with the mic embedded in the cell phone(Galaxy 10).
I am expecting this Rode mini to be more compatible with the latest iPhone or iPad in terms of the sound back to our ears with the 3.5 mm jack on its back. Since I use iPhone x also, I can't figure it out without an adapter from USB C to lightning.
By the way, you can only hear the dry sound without post treatment. Gonna learn to use Audition Adobe to make my voice more attractive. It does take time from the scratch, hah...
To recap, it's a good-looking and easy to use device with a reasonable price.
