Installed on a Squier Standard Series Tele
First let me say I bought this particular bridge to install on my Standard Series Squier Tele. It will NOT work on other models without extensive modifications! That being said;
To install, I had to drill the four rear mounting holes. After that, the install was a breeze. The intonation and action were perfect right out of the package. Not saying you won't have to adjust, mine just so happens didn't need to be, luck. The bridge has increased the resonating of the strings to the body. The sustain has also increased. It seems to have improved the sound and playability of the guitar. Probably the best upgrade for the Squier Tele available. The only "problem" I came across with the install was that I had to reuse the Squier,s front mounting screws because they are larger in diameter than the supplied screws. You'll have to use a little preasure to get them to first go through the holes on the bridge plate, not a big deal.
Overall, great product, great end results!
Happy Modding!

Squirt Standard Series Telecaster
0 of 1 found this helpful The standard series is well worth the money. It's a lot of guitar for the price. Finish: there was one little flaw but I'm ok with it. Little spot that feels like a grit of dirt was in the paint. The satin neck feels great! Pickups are pretty decent for the price. They are much quieter than I expected from single coils. They'll be the last thing I upgrade. Volume knob scratches the plate just a touch but I plan on upgrading the pots and switch soon. Tuners are alright but again, soon to be upgraded. Overall, it's a great guitar! If you're looking for a good telecaster, but don't want to drop a fortune, this is a really good value.
