Ok for ladders, but not for sheets of plywood

Con: plywood sheets don't fit on top without altering the rack and removing the black triangle mounts; this greatly reduces the utility of the rack for carrying wide objects. I plan to replace the black triangles with a 6' piece of 1x4 to see if this will make it safe to carry wide loads or plywood, but don't know if a 1 x4 will be strong enough.

Do not buy it is a very poor product.

Very poor product. Burned out the motor after the first few uses. I replaced it with one from Costco that is quiet, costs less, is much more powerful. I was not able to get a refund. I also lost the cost of labor.
