Defeats the purpose
The monitor turns black after ten minutes of inactivity. The whole point of a monitor is to be able to view the child. You are unable to do so because it turns black. You aren't able to disable this feature either. The camera needs to be far away and high up in order to view the whole crib. The zoom button is zoomed in too much so you are unable to see everything. I would not recommend this product.
