Torchwood Season 1

Torchwood is an exciting sci-fi action drama series from BBC, but be aware, it's not the typical TV fare. There's occasional gore, sexual situations, rough language, and often violence. There's also same-sex "snogging," as the Brits call the kissing scenes. If none of that offends you and you're looking for the kind of sci-fi drama you won't see on U.S. television, then give Torchwood a try. No two episodes are alike and individual episodes veer from standard sci-fi themes into horror and mystery. High production values. Well acted. Engaging characters.
