Hohner Blues Harp Harmonica Diatonic 532BX Blues Rock KEY OF G# G Sharp Ab
    Dec 19, 2018
The factory product is my personal choice for decades. As for this purchase, ITEM PRISTINE, display box frighteningly beaten. VHappy
I have had at least one MS 532/20. I am glad I bought a Special 20 and a Lee Oscar at the same time as my first MS some 25 years ago. I have a complete set of both MS and 'Marine Band'. There are large similarities and differences. Hands down, the most striking between two - and adding the other 2 plastic combed harps - The fasteners are a major difference to me simply because saliva control is never perfect for anyone and harps need to be cleaned. I can't seem to keep a pocket clean enough to keep a harp n it for more than a few hours before getting dusty or something where it needs to be taken apart. MS 532 uses 'screw-posts' to fasten the cover plates and a stove-bolt with NO NUTS hold the reed plates. IMHO Harps can be made so leaky they need numerous nut/screws to tighten the thing up. As for the Marine Band, another high quality beautiful sounding instrument. I save them for the stage because they are nailed together as they did in the old days. Opening and closing them up often is directly limited to the skill of the technician
