Get the job done!
I have Steel Legion army for warhammer 40k where the majority of their model are still metal/pewter. And I have had many of my model’s paint (and even primer!) chipped off from general uses, which is frustrating to say the least.
I then decided to find some sort of protective matt coating. The varnish spray from GW and army painter can be prone to “frosting”, so I settled for Vallejo matt varnish bottle and so far it work great! Can be painted on with normal brush without needing water, thus avoiding the hassle of finding right condition for spraying and the model came out like it should be; matt finish rather than satin or glossy.
Definitely recommended
