Good replacement fans for my Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X
2 of 2 found this helpful These fans are compatible with the Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X. They are fully functional with AMD's fan profile controller. I bought these fans because my middle fan died and my GPU temps were getting 80 C on high load.
My only con about these fans are that the wire lengths are not the same length as the original fans. Anybody buying these fans might have a hard time routing the cords in. It was a tight fit for fitting the cords in between the heat sink and the front shroud.
It took me about an hour to disassemble my card and swap out the fans and overall my graphics card works perfectly now. I would recommend these fans for anyone having fan problems for this card.
