Post war Parisian detective using guile and charm gets the baddie everytime. A slice of storytelling history. Settle down with a glass of red. Enjoy!
Highly entertaining. Good acting, and a slice of yesteryear. Neatly packaged and presented to a high standard. George Siminon was a superlative storyteller and his tales are acted out with skill and humour. Rupert Davis was the perfect choice for this role. Siminon himself said he was the best Maigrait he'd seen. Obviously, there have been later versions. The best being Michael Gambon but for me Davis is the best. This is a cracking boxset and worth every penny!
