Lightweight, great screen
This is a nice little machine. The screen is great, even though the sound is a bit lacking, not the machines' fault, but the fault of the emulator. It has played every game I've thrown at it so far. The only real "complaint" I have with it is the vagueness about how to add more games to a SD card. I tried 5 different SD cards and only the microSD card out of my phone with an adapter would read. So here is some easy advice, whatever you do DO NOT format your SD card through Windows or whatever your OS is. Download a program called SDFormatter 2.0, once I formatted my other SD cards with that program, the console recognized all of my other SD cards, even a 16gb SDHC. Awesome battery life, I play this thing at least two hours a day and I've only had to charge it once in a week. The DPad and face buttons feel great too, the Start and Menu buttons are a little clicky but they do the job. If you can find it under $30 like I did, then grab it, it's worth the money.

Awesome adapter!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for (future) use with the arcade cabinet I'm building, but wanted to finish getting the software side finished first, which included getting the controls setup finished. I purchased a USB N64 controller, but the stick was extremely stiff and clicked hard when I moved it to the right, so I bought this to replace it. When I plugged it in, it showed up as 2 USB Control Pads, a quick edit to the registry entry for it and it worked almost instantly with Retroarch, only had to remap two buttons! After calibrating it through the joystick properties in Windows 10, the analog stick works flawlessly. I could not be happier, I think I'll order a second one so we can play some four player N64 games!

Decent but you get what you pay for
The controller plugged right in and was recognized, unfortunately it was recognized as a generic usb controller. The buttons themselves feel really good, but the analog stick is really stiff and clicks when I move it to the right. I bought it to have as part of a retro gaming setup I have on my PC. The autoconfig file that Retroarch uses doesn't work very well and it took me several hours to finally get the standard layout mapped, but now works great. I went ahead and just ordered a Mayflash N64 to USB adapter so I can use my old N64 pads. They might be a bit worn out but the sticks feel better.
