sure is nice to install a battery and go do yard work, no more gasser trimmer issues
I had a few Gas trimmers and after a few yrs they become difficult to start, even with basic tune ups. My yard/lot isn't very large. I had my doubts on battery powered lawn equipment. The lawn mower and the trimmer have both been replaced with Ryobi equipment. Sure is nice to pop a battery in off the charger and just do yard work. As long as they keep the same battery line, should last us for a while. Again, small house lot/yard. If you have a medium lot/yard, you may want to purchase a second battery.

For a DIY-er on the weekends, sure.
This 9.0 battery pack is about as good as the 4.0 Milwaukee brand. They work, but they are heavy-er in weight than a 4.0 Milwaukee brand. When these give up, I will aquire the Milwaukee brand. I'm also using these at work 9hrs a day doing production. So maybe asking too much from this product?
