Man and Wife by Andrew Klavan
This is the second book I bought that was written by Andrew Klavan (the first was True Crime). The first book I accidentally stumbled upon at a local thrift store. The second I bought through eBay.
As a voracious reader, I have read hundreds of books throughout the years. Recently I have begun to put down books that are too complex -- too many parties to the plot -- the plot itself too convoluted to understand. After a few chapters, I get lost in these books.
However, I have found that Andrew Klavan writes beautifully and his stories are easily understood. He not only tells a story, but he adds insight, clearly understood and beautifully expressed. I would say that Andrew Klavan is one of the best authors I have ever read. His books are the kind that you cannot put down!
I am now on a journey to buy as many Klavan books as possible. This is easy to do as eBay has numerous of his books for sale. Thank God for eBay!

Incredible all-black cast. FABULOUS!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I adore this movie. I saw it on Turner Classic movies years ago, but forgot the title. I spent hours on eBay trying to locate it, to no avail. I recently viewed a short synopsis of the movie on TV (a discussion of King Vidor's movies) and discovered its title. I am so happy I found it!
This is an all-black movie with the usual plot: Good girl, good boy. Good boy seduced by beautiful woman. Realistic ending. Well, kind of.
Anyway, it is well worth watching. The plot is great and the movie itself, produced in 1929, is a time capsule in of itself. Nina Mae McKinney is absolutely gorgeous. She plays her part incredibly well. Supposedly she was 16 years old at the time! Would you believe that?
The movie also includes a commentary by Black Cultural Scholars Donale Boyle and Avery Clayton. There are two vintage musical shorts as well. I really enjoyed the commentary. Unfortunately it lasted so long, I fell asleep! I'll be watching this movie again to finish up the commentary.
If you love vintage movies, if you have a religious background, and if you were a rebel as a teenager, you will especially enjoy this movie.

Incredible bras
These bras are FANTASTIC. I am a well endowed woman who has had problems with bras with the straps cutting into my shoulders. When I put on the bra for the first time, I was amazed. So comfortable! The straps are narrow, but they do not cut into your shoulders. The bra is like a dream. The support is incredible. The price is incredible reasonable as well. The only negative is that I could not find this style in a D. If you are larger than a 38, you can always get an extension hook thing at Walmart. HIGHLY recommend.
