Good protection for a non-tempered-glass solution, but some downsides

I think this offers much more protection than a PET screen protector, but not nearly as much as a tempered glass unit. It's easy enough to apply though, and does not show dust underneath like dry application protectors do. My main issues are that 1) There is an odd "orange peel" texture that distorts reflections. I'm not sure if affects the light coming through it much, but it's noticable and never goes away. 2) The "rubbery" feel also never goes away, you will not forget that you have a TPU film on your screen when using it. 3) It seems as though any imperfections created on the surface due to contact do not completely heal. Mine had several dents/deformations that I believe were made when installing it and through contact w/ keys/etc. that never went away. It's hard to recomend these over a good fitting glass protector, but if that's not an option and you need more protection than a thin PET protector give it a try.

Fantastic for the $$

For what I paid (Less than $150) this computer is a fantastic value. You have to know what you can/can't do with Chrome OS, but if you understand this you can't go wrong. I was a little worried about it only having 2GB RAM but so far it hasn't been an issue. Build quality is good, screen is better than most Chromebooks and the keyboard/touchpad are both excellent. If you want a laptop for basic tasks and there are no special Windows programs you need this is a winner.

Good for the price.

Gets the job done. Not a perfect fit, but I haven't found many cheap tempered glass protectors that do.
