It works, with a little bit of work....
This replacement cord did work with our two-speed E2 Type 12 Rainbow vacuum, however, it was not "plug and play". We had to de-pin a wire from terminal connector to the switch from the old, damaged cord because this new replacement cord did not have the wire to the terminal block. Not a big deal, and only takes a few minutes if you have the correct terminal pin extractor tool and know how to do it. I'm not sure the average homeowner would know how or want to tackle it themselves. I've de-pinned connectors from terminal blocks before, so it was not an issue for me. Had this new cord not required the extra work required to adapt it, I would have given this five stars.
