Full of information, but bland.
This was the assigned textbook for my Plant Anatomy & Development class. I am a plant science major, so the material contained in it is completely relevant, useful, and in depth. This being said, it is also a very boring textbook. To start, it is printed in greyscale. This, or any biology book is dependent on the student being able to properly identify what is being taught, and not in color is a bad way to start. Secondly, the diagrams are confusing and ill-placed, a lot of the times using acronyms when they haven't been properly defined. Since this is a textbook, I almost expect the material to be boring. Anyways, if your assigns this, consider this a "heads up", otherwise save your money.
