  When I received the stylus, it was in a package marked 6543-DE instead of M97xE, the number of the item the listing claimed. I Googled the new number and this came up with this: "N97xE Stylus for Shure M97xE Get Your N97xE Stylus for Shure M97xE from Denmark's International Turntable ... Aftermarket Stylus. Elliptical. 6543-DE. Price : $82.31. In stock." It seems I got a knock-off, not the real thing.

  I'm going to guess you didn't read my listing, as i've clearly indicated this is a high quality aftermarket made in Japan and NOT an original Shure stylus.
