Factory Toyota parts
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a factory Toyota kit I assume for dealers to install, the instructions left in my email made installing this very simple. Unlike other setups this one is plug and play for my 2020 Tacoma. I didn’t need to cut any wires, everything plugged into the factory harness and neatly installed with the zip ties included. Tools used were 3/8 ratchet,3/8 extension ,10mm socket for 3/8 drive , T30 bit for 3/8 drive and tool to cut zip tie and steel ties and lastly a pry tool to help removing plastic interior panels on passenger side.

Factory 2020 Tacoma kit
This kit is plug and play for my 2020 Tacoma , my truck already had a cargo light so I didn’t need the other kit . All I had to do was remove both taillights using a 10mm socket removing 2 bolts on each taillight and simply plugging in the connector into the factory harness that was hooked up to a dummy connector that was behind the taillight. The lights are very bright and will light up the entire bed at night.
