Quality Compass.
Suinto MC-2 Global appears to be sturdy, we'll see how it holds up. Its plastic so I have concerns. Not fond of how the lanyard is attached, it seems like it can come off. Its an expensive compass, not sure how much better it is from a cheaper plastic compass.

Large Scale Rand McNally Motor Carriers Roaf Atlas
Product seems to be of good quality. The laminated maps seem a little thin. The binding wire is metal. This atlas has information on placards and hazmat,incidents and response, pre trip procedures state full tax, weight and size limits, and so much more, I really thing one of these should be given to EVERY new Truck drive for graduation from driver school.
I purchased the Large Scale map, and actually its almost to big, unless your really sight impaired, the regular size would work fine, not to mention that it would weight way less.
