Great F/A-18F collect able, metal, die cast model
Very well done metal, collect able, die cast model. Some of the ordinance, of which there were several option, we're not quit tight enough in fit, but some plastic and metal glue fixed that.
All in all a great 1/72 scale F-/A-18F.
Highly recommended for any US Navy enthusiast.

Excellent, comprehnesive reviews of the naval systems that have made todays Navies what they are
Two excellent, comprehensive reviews of World-wide Naval Systems through the 1990s. Many of today's naval systems are based on improvements of the systems designed and ut in use then, and as technology has enabled, most navies have improved those systems with the new technologies that have become available.

Great 1/350 scale representation of one of the newest CHinese Navy (PLAN) destroyers
A great representation of the Chinese Navy (PLAN) Type 052D destroyer. Roughly similar to the Aleigh Burks Flight IIA, except it only has 64 missiles (as opposed to the 96 on the Arleigh Burke Flight IIA) and it only carrier one helicopter (instead of the two on the Burke light IIA).
But this is a huge step forward by the Chinese and they are building the rapidly, having already produced 20 of these destroyers in five years, either in active service, in trials, or launched and outfitting. Five more are at various stages of building.
This 1/350 scale model is an excellent representation of the destroyer. I have purchased two and built them to use in my Chinese carrier strike group in 1/350 scale, or in my Chinese Amphibious ready group in 1/350 scale.
