Kaito = low on durability??

I am sad to have to write this review of the Kaito Voyager Pro. I have always thought so highly of the Kaito name and was super excited to finally get this version, but upon opening it I am greatly disappointed. For being an emergency radio, it is a delicate as an egg. The whole unit feels so cheap. Some may call it "light weight", but I'm scared to death of it dropping off of the counter. An emergency radio should be heavy duty enough to survive the situation that is putting a person in to the emergency. This would include rain and bouncing around. I've not tried to put the radio through hardship, so my review is only based upon my feeling about the radio after handling it.
