Not sure why it takes so long to run full speed
It cranks great but takes quite a while before you can get it to run full speed, as much as ten minutes. It will run without the choke on rather quickly , which is normal, but it takes longer than expected for it to run full speed

Rule pool pump, the great and the wish it was better.
Delivery was quick and price was about 60% of what it would cost at the pool places I deal with. I like the way the pump is able to run itself when water rises, my only dislike it the hose bib that attaches the water lose to will deteriorate after a couple of years and break, it's plastic and in the weather almost always and is repairable, so it's still a good buy.
