Forester rear strut assembly
Good quality and ride, the complete assembly is the only way to go. Ease of installation (no spring compressor needed), restores ride height and quality, and eliminates noise. Many of the original Subaru upper strut plates corrode badly (mine is a 2000 model)- if you don't have the assembly, once you get the original unit out the car is down until you find a new plate. Trust me, you won't find one locally, and you are still reusing a sagging, worn out spring. Buy the unit, you won't be disappointed. Have purchased many automotive related items from AM Autoparts both for my personal vehicles and for our customers vehicles, have never been disappointed. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Cheap.
This element is flimsy and skinny compared to OEM. About half the thickness of the original. Won't be long before this one will require replacement.

Spend the money, get the factory manual.
Typical Haynes manual. Good for a home mechanic, not enough detail for a professional. Wiring diagrams do not cover all systems.
