It's new(unused) so not too much could be wrong
1 of 1 found this helpful The battery is new(unused) so not too much could be wrong. So far it holds the charge as expected. It's a little pricier that others available, but this was an OEM product and not a knockoff/replacement or remanufactured item. It was shipped and delivered promptly so no complaints there either. I checked the manufacture date which showed this battery was manufactured in May of 2011, so its already 4-years old, but I have no idea what the standard is for batteries being effective to manufacturer specs, or what the standard shelf life is for this type of battery. Like I stated, so far it holds the charge as expected, and hoping it does so for the next three years like the original one did.
