Feedback issues

I guess I should have done better research. First MUST have phantom power. Never have understood why all mixer boards seem to apply +48v to every channel when this is the only mic outta 12 mics that needs it. Causes hum when turned on. Second - with the gain at about 1 and output near zero this mic starts feedback. Nearest speaker is about 12 feet away. But it does pick up vocals from easy 5 feet away.

Good for getting out the old scratchy LP's

Two days of oldies LP heaven. OK maybe not that great. Nice little unit for the money. Cons... uses an AC transformer that is too big to fit inside the closed case when not in use. Does NOT have an AM/FM as some other units do. Speakers are a bit "tinny" but plenty of power. Hook it up to some larger POWERED speakers for better sound and tone. I have not tried the download function so no comment there.
