Good grip
1 of 1 found this helpful I had to scuff the belt up to make it work with my old washer.
The grip was so good my washer would shut down in the spin cycle.
I have read about this happeneing to other users on older machines.
Maybe an original Maytag belt is best or it would the same. I did not try one. So I can't say for sure.
If it lasts as long as the original belt, 33 years, I will be impressed.
