Collaborative Analysis of Student Work
I bought this book for a study group in my masters class in curriculum and instruction. In my opinion, it does not take a whole book to explain to professionals how to share ideas for improving student learning. Much of the book seemed to be a sales pitch for the seminar training.
Language is often jumbled to the point it is difficult to summarize. However, here it is: observe students with anecdotal notes on learning styles and behaviors, make a table of these students, choose two to focus on within the group, share strategies with peers, listen to their suggestions on how to improve learning, use those strategies, report back to the group. Do all this with professional behavior. I hope I just saved you $23.
