Great filter for fish tanks
I bought this for a external filter system for my fish tank.
The discription size wise
could have been better.
For this type of use you will have plenty of room for the different stages of filtration you want.
The filter for it is a 4.5"x10" filter.
In the housing is big enough to fit a 4" pvc floor drian cover to hold my bio bed x 2 plus the mechanical and chemical needs.
I used a 158 gph power head, some pvc fittings and 1/2"pvc pipe which puts enough water though at a slow rate for crystal clear water.
Watch youtube vids.for ideas how you want to set it up.
If using this for a house it would supply great water filtration for the price.
The seller shipped right away had it in this then a week.
