Since Soda Stream cannot...
If you have a soda stream, are you able to buy your favorite syrups and flavors? Diet tonic has always been challenging to find, however during the pandemic is now impossible. So we thought just buy it like it was for a soda fountain setup much like what you may find at McDonalds. The box of syrup is 3 gallons, quite a change from the 14.8 oz. bottle from Soda Stream. We thought it through and when it arrived, we had large plastic gallon containers from the Dollar Tree. We pour it from the bag in the box into the 3 containers and then dispense them into the saved 14.8 Soda Steam bottles. The ratio on the box says mix at one part to five parts. Which means one part of the diet tonic syrup to 5 parts of sparkling Soda Stream water which you turn water into sparkling water by charging it with CO2. Doing the math the correlates to one and 1/2 capfuls of the new diet tonics syrup, added to the bottle of sparling water from your Soda Stream. The cost might appear large at first, but compared to buying 3 gallons of Soda Stream syrup it would cost approximately $180.00 compared to the $67.44 we paid along with free shipping. We did follow the tracking online and noticed it stalled in some hub. I watched it for a few days and it never moved. I inquired and they canceled the order and created a new order. The carton it ships in is cardboard and it was not put inside another box to protect it. The second attempt went very smooth. Hick ups sometimes happen, especially in this time we are living today. Great find for us! Cheers
