No installation instructions

The product looks to be a great item, but no installation instructions were included. The color of the wires are different than any internet conversations that I found, so we ended up guessing on installation. I did find another internet post that mentioned that 1) the solid black wire should go to ground, 2) the solid Grey wire should go to the fuse box, and 3) the black w/ grey stripe should go to negative on coil. Seems backward as I had the solid black to fuse box and grey to ground, but worth a try. When the weather gets a bit warmer, I'll try swapping these two wires. Dallas County Parts has been good to work with and sent a new tach out, but I think my wires are mixed up. I'll send it back if my wiring is to blame. JW
