It's about time!

I did the usual internet search for typical causes and solutions for a non-heating clothes dryer. Of course, all of the most frequent and less expensive causes were not the culprit in my case! I was getting a bit antsy and frustrated, until I finally figured out the timer control was the problem. The only way I was able to confirm this? I stood behind the dryer with it running(the drum turning, anyway). I fiddled with the dryer control dial while my left leg was feeling the cool air coming out of the exhaust. All of a sudden I felt the cool air warming up. Sure enough, I found that the timer would indeed work only in certain and random positions. There it was! I then did the requisite internet search for a replacement part. I was surprised at the wide range of prices shown from various sources. I read some of the associated reviews. I ended up choosing to purchase from Ebay and this vendor. They had good reviews, a product name(Robertshaw) that I was familiar with, good price and good shipping terms. I received the part exactly as ordered and when expected. I was able to install it the very next morning. Dryer is working like new! Now, I have time to do some other bucket list or honey-do list items......Yay me!

Lock Up the Savings, Cap Full of Promise!

Excellent product! Cap matched the old cap I was replacing perfectly, but added the locking feature. I like that because now my cap won't come undone and I won't run over it with my tractor mower! Cap looks real good in place, too! I had previously searched at all my local auto parts and tractor parts stores to no avail. Nothing came close to matching my needs. Then I turned to an online search, and this is where I found exactly what I needed.

You get what you pay for....I should have bought this one the first time!

My Campbell Hausfeld air compressor is like 40 years old. It's been a great tool all those years. Just last year, the manifold/air pressure valve failed, and I was able to find a non-OEM replacement part, which took care of that. Then, the tank would not hold pressure, it would bleed off overnight. I found that the original check valve was faulty, so I replaced it. I bought a cheap generic valve, for what I thought was a good price. Well, that part only lasted about 1 month. Multiple attempts to contact the manufacturer failed, so that was a complete waste of my money. THIS time, I figured I'd better get a 'factory' part. That's when I found this item. IT fit perfectly and IT actually works! My air compressor should be fine for another 40 years or so now.
