Sound is awesome with burn-in. Uncomfortable for ears though.
I'm not the most reliable person to ask for a headphone review. But I'm just going to give you a down and dirty version. Don't take this review as the word of the gospel, but these headphones are awesome for their price. Okay, first thing when I unpacked it was to hook it up to my computer and stream some SiriusXM. At first, they sounded extremely unimpressive. The sound was tinny and the bass was non-existent. But I am a believer of headphone burn-in. So I left my headphones playing on full blast for about 4 straight days (96 hours). Your patience is rewarded when the 96-hour-burn-in-time has passed. The bass is there, it certainly is not head-thumping, but let's save that characteristic for Dr. Dre's Beats (which are horrible in the mid-tone range). Final Result: The overall sound quality is comparative to it's price. Requires 96 hour burn-in. Now, I wear glasses. Usually, most if not all headphones push my frame into the side of my head, which gets painful after awhile. Maybe your head is smaller than mine, but probably not, since my head is pretty small. Also, beware if you have large ears. These things really hurt when they put pressure on the edges of your ears. When I take them off, the tips of my ears are red. May not apply to you, but something to be wary of. Final Result: Ergonomics (is it that?) is not superior. They may mash your head and ears, which gets painful. Beware glasses-wearers. I recommend Bose headphones if that is what you want. In the end, I still enjoy the headphones. They were a good investment since my old pair broke after the cable split in half. I still don't like how it hurts if I don't adjust it every so often, but the sound and price just can't be beat (may be debatable...). If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
