Best Nikon Lens Ever
2 of 2 found this helpful PERFECT! First off lets start by saying this is the best lens Nikon has ever made. The hefty price tag was totally worth it, Id buy this lens over and over again. The constant f2.8 aperture is great, especially in low light. Extremely fast focusing great for indoor/outdoor sports, wildlife, birds in flight, or any other type of action you can throw at this lens. The weight of the lens is a little on the heavy side if your carrying this thing around all day (which I do) My personal recommendation is using a grip with your camera to help counter balance the lens, thats assuming your not shooting with a professional camera D3, D3S, D3X etc...Now the Image Quality of this lens is amazing, produces great photos every time. The other great thing about this lens is being able to use with Teleconverters (1.4, 1.7 and 2.0) for extra reach. Overall if your thinking about buying one of these bad boys DO IT! Worth every penny and you wont regret it.
