iPod Gen4 mainboard/logic board
I decided to purchase it for a Gen4 iPod I was building from leftover parts. The Gen 4 iPod worked intermittently and since the unit had a new faceplate/thumbwheel assembly and new Hard Drive, there really wasn't anything else to replace. I installed the new board and the iPod is working quite well to date.
Very pleasing that this was available to complete an iPod rebuild. The price overall is a bit steep for a used board. They install fairly easily and are worth the trouble to purchase and install if it is the only thing between you and a useable iPod. It is a bit tricky to move the Hard Drive cable from the old board to the new one. If you are a person who is comfortable changing a watch battery, this project may be for you.
I would buy one again from eBay if needed with comfort and confidence.

Brand new, quality product complete with porcelain wire nuts to complete the installation. Works great and easy to replace.
