Good value. Exact match.
This part was an exact duplicate of the piece I pulled out of the door. That being said, there is good, & bad aspects of that.
The Good:
The original lasted close to 20 years, so take that however you like. (I've got a Chevy from the 60's with functional windows still... sooo...).
It's a direct bolt in part. NO "custom" fabrication necessary.
The price for this New piece was only around $30.00. I wouldn't be surprised to find it priced near the same at the local pull-&-pay yard. (Seriously).
The Bad:
The part that broke was a little piece of nylon designed to connect 2 steel braided cables to the window mount. It got old, & cold, & one day... just broke. That's plastic for ya!
This new piece is destined to do the same eventually. Although, it may last the rest of the Jeep's life. Time will tell.
In the end, the part was well worth the money. The hassle of trying to "fix" it, or travel to a yard for a replacement out of a used junker, isn't worth it, when this "NEW" one only costs $30.00, more or less. It also arrived within a week with just the basic shipping, so the wait was minimal.
Worth the buy!
