This saved me money
I have Inherited Moen fixtures in my parents home… but Mom did all brass and it didn’t age well. I ask Moen if they could be replaced but the trim needs new valves. None of the new trim plates work with the old plumbing and the plumber couldn’t re-plumb the wall without tearing out a tiled wall or making a huge hole in the plastic shower surround. This was my solution…. Keep the old plumbing and just replace the trim. OK, so it is not as robust as the original Moen plate, and I had to re-work the edges to take the waves out and make it round. It flexes when you put the screws in so don’t over tighten. But now that it is in… I doubt anyone can tell the difference.

What a hoot!
This is a very nice little lamp! Needed an update for a bedroom lamp and this is the perfect size, adds character and pulls my color scheme together! Win win win! Very carefully packaged and arrived in good order! Thanks so much!
