Sansui AU-X501 integrated amplifier amp

Accurate Powerhouse Sansui GOLD!

Sansui made many excellent amplifiers. I've owned MANY. This is an example of their engineers not giving up on finding THE SOUND! Accurate—Warm—Musical... Just look at the specs and then LISTEN! Many opinions exist that the earlier AU non-X units were best—I disagree—I sold AU717, AU-11000, AU-D11(great powerhouse units-yes, but not the most detailed & finessed) — I've been a recording engineer for 30 plus.... this AU-X501 is great with accurate/expensive studio monitors—and great with Hi-Fi speakers. Accurate does not mean sterile—If the source is not pleasant-you'll know it... But if you're listening to things recorded and mixed well — This is FUN!

Good DVDs... I'd buy again...

Good DVDs... They seem to be doing exactly what they should.... I'd buy again... NO spindle in the packaging—so watch out for that... I had an empty CD spindle to drop them onto.
