Works well but weak radio makes for possible additional cost of booster.
The remote module installs just like any other fan controller. The only real issue with the device is the limited range of the z-wave radio on the device. Unless you have another mesh device in the room or an extender it will likely not pair to your automation network. If they had installed a better quality radio it would have earned a perfect rating from me.

Bearers of the Black Staff (2010, Hardcover)
If you are a lover of epic fantasy/Science fiction and post apocalyptic this should tickle every fancy you have.
This book tied together the knights of the word and the remnants of the old world pre and during the apocalypse, to the races that dominate the world of Shannara. It is classic Brooks and his style of tragic hero and heroine, his flawed characters make them relatable and more the real. Each conflicted or twisted in their own way, you get emotionally drawn into his world through these rich and fleshed out personalities.
The highly descriptive narrative he uses to paint the colors of his world are rich and vibrant. Which says a lot when most of the world is a charred ruin, overrun by beings that in some instances defy description. You fell the anguish in each loss and the relief in each victory. You can sense the dark ambitions of the antagonists and the twist of their cruelty.
I would like to state that I cut my teeth reading Brooks when I was in Middle School and I am in no way an impartial reviewer. I have loved all of his works and this is no exception. My only complaint is having to wait for the next installment.
In closing I am thoroughly impressed in how the way he has woven each of these seperate generations of his work together. The seems are not even visible as if the work had been intentionally in this fashion from the beginning.
