Kawasaki KLR650 2008 thru 2018 Crash Bars Engine Guards

Quality product at a good price!

Fit and finish on the bike are excellent! Looks like an OEM part. Rock solid with three mounting points. Did have a two very small burrs that had edges on them on a few welds, but they were easily ground down and touched up with black paint in the small areas. No regrets.

Modernize the Look

I bought this product to replace a weather worn and brush damaged unit on a 2003 Kawasaki KLR250 - making the color change from green to black. Bolt holes had to be drilled in the new UFO fender, but with the OEM in hand, making a template on an index card was fast and easy. Once installed, there were no clearance issues with the radiator/frame in the back when mounted properly. The UFO fender is smaller - both front and back from the OEM unit, but let's face it, the KLR is functionally an unchanged 1980's design and fenders were like hair - the bigger the better. While the OEM fender provides more protection in wet muddy conditions, the cleaner shorter look of the UFO fender modernized the appearance of the bike while providing good functionality.
