Fixed Problem
My 2005 Lincoln Navigator suddenly started to run with skipping, missing, no power. After research and pulling codes, the Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) solenoids were thought to be the problem. I ordered them through EBAY and received quickly. I then installed them in engine (15 minutes) and problem was fixed. Navigator runs better than it ever has. My miles per gallon have increased from 16.7 to 19.9, a more than 3 mile per gallon increase.
Melling makes oil pumps and are a leader in the industry. This product is very well made and seem heavier than what they replaced. I would surely recommend them, I prrobably saved over a thousand dollars by installing them myself. you can't go wrong with this product. I feel that they are far superior to any others that you could buy. Just my opinion.

Better
Tried the Dorman brand, lasted a year and a few months. Ford Motorcraft seem to be better quality and they fit without having to change anything. I would recommend Motorcraft.
