Time will tell.
The original battery supplied with the phone made by Panasonic lasted well over 8 yrs. I purchased a generic battery through different on-line company; it lasted for 1 yr.
So to answer the question about the quality, time will tell. I just received this battery, less than 2 months, so we will see.
