Make Juice of about everything
I have read that the Gerson Teraphy to treat cancer recommends to drink lots of fruit and vegetable juices a few times a day. I had a Jack LaLane centrifugal juice maker and was curious as to what a "masticating" juice maker would be like. I made the purchase and could not be happier. The Jack LaLane is almost "retired". It can make juice of lettuce, raw beet, sliced whole pineaple (with crust), ginger roots, and of course of carrot, pear and apple. It's very quick to clean afterwards. My only complaint is that the juice jar was designed more for the looks than for pouring the juice: It lacks a tip for pouring the juice. If the recipient is not full, you can still pour it without dripping, but if its full, you'll drip some. The Omega products are designed for durability: I have a heavy duty Omega grapefruit juicer and its a workhorse. I surely recommend this machine to anyone who wants to make plenty of juices of everything.
