Decent quality, but don’t work for Suburban trim panels
Decent quality, but don’t work for Suburban trim panels. I bought these to remount the panel above the tailgate area on my 2012 Suburban. The center pin is not thick enough and it causes the pin not to stay seated within the trim piece. Not sure how they will work for other applications.

Works great, just understand the limitations.
I bought this as a portable water heater for temporary use. In this capacity, it works great. The 1/2” water pipe fittings (NPT threads) can be easily adapted to garden hose fittings, and the brass barb fitting that connects to the gas supply can be supplied using a gas grill regulator (cut off the grill fitting) and a 20 lb propane tank.
A few warnings:
This is not a “set it and forget it” operation. The temperature is controlled using a combination of gas control (flame intensity) and water flow valves. Lower flow means higher temperature, and this unit does not have a thermostat. Using multiple devices on this heater could result in rather unstable water temperature, and potentially scalding.
The manual is written in rather broken English, but does warn against not being in the path of the water when first turning it on. I am assuming that the first burst of water from the heater could be rather hot.
The heater will cycle on and off is the output flow is interrupted, such as when a intermittent nozzle is used.
There is a digital thermometer that displays the water output temp in Celsius.
Overall the heater is a great value, but I’m not sure I would use it as the primary means of heating water for a house. The temperature output is just too unstable. This being said, it functions well and can generate a large amount of hot water in short order. This heater coupled with a automatic temperature regulating valve would be a perfect match.
