CHEVY 1500 2014-2017 3.5'' LIFT 4X4
This is a great lift for the money. New shocks and struts or heavier with larger pistons they really made a difference on the dirt road washboards, the truck doesn't shake and wonder on road like it did with the factory set up. Lift is not difficult to install 6-7 hours and never done this style, only used jacks and jack stands on the floor. You will most definitely need a saw zaw to cut the cooling fins on the front differential un less you choose to remove it. No need to unhook CVC axles as some videos show.
Personal opinion: My buddy had a new set of u bolts 1-1/2" longer than the new set in this kit. and we first installed without adding the rear factory block only the new blocks that came with kit. Well the rear end of truck actually set 1" lower in the rear verses the front. So we added the factory block with the new blocks and used his longer U bolts. It sets right now with only a 1/2" higher in the rear. Basically sets up a lot like a 2500HD just not as much rake as them.
I'm very pleased with this lift, going to get alignment today we got it extremely close but want it done professionally. You wont be disappointed. Longer U bolts well worth it.
