Only good for ceramic bowls with perpendicular sides

This product is Okay if you have bowls with sides that are perpendicular to the base, or have a gentle angle to the base, such as in the pictures. If you're trying to cover a dish or bowl with sharply oblique sides, the thickness of the clear silicone sheet does NOT allow it to bend and adhere to the side and so will not seal. Sealing fruit or vegetables is near impossible. I've seen some people say they have the original green-tinted Stretch and Fresh, which is made of a thinner silicone sheet, and thus makes it easier to stretch and conform to the shape of bowls and plates. But this clear version is quite difficult to stretch. I WOULD NOT recommend this product.

Effective when it works

Very cheap compared to some other UVC sterilisers on the market, but you get what you pay for. Initially when I received it, the device did not work. So with instruction from the vendor, I disassembled it, tightened the bulbs and screwed them back together and it has worked ever since. There has been some issues with the plug adapter for Australian Power Points being a bit loose, but a bit of bending of the prongs has helped. I have been using the steriliser daily on any particular pair of shoes I wear for the last 4 or 5 weeks and I have noticed that my incidence of tinea has definitely decreased. The device is cheap enough to try and it seems to be working.

It will suffice for the price

Let's get this straight from the start - This is a VERY CHEAP otoscope. The specula do not fit to it easily and will not hold together if you put too much pressure on them. But if you treat it gently it will do what you need of it, that is to look inside orifices. We only purchased it to look inside our kids ears and nostrils if they were complaining of ear ache or nasal congestion, and it does the job adequately. We will consider spending more on a higher quality device if and when the time arises.
