A Classic never dies

The 4K transfer is remarkable and the sound is superb. The best looking copy of NOTLD on any format. Special features are mediocre and I’m a bit disappointed we didn’t get the 7 extra minutes of footage we were promised. Otherwise, a must have in any horror fan’s collection.

VHS vs DIGITAL

Seeing this particular copy of Elm Street is nostalgia in itself. It has something that dvd and bluray took away. That grainy quality brings out more intensity into the film. For those who are discovering these films now, might I recommend trying out the vhs format before starting serious on your high def and digital counterparts. It's well worth it.
